Details & Members For New Scrapped Bray Wyatt Faction Revealed WWE

Bray Wyatt has not been seen on WWE television since the beginning of March, when he was taken off of television due to illness.

Prior to his illness, Wyatt and Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) were entering into a feud with Bobby Lashley, with a match planned for WrestleMania 39 ultimately being scrapped.

However, we now know about a potential new Bray Wyatt faction that was in the works prior to his hiatus.

This wouldn’t be the first scrapped proposal for a Wyatt faction, as Fightful Select learned that, prior to their releases in 2020, Paul Heyman made pitches to have both Mike Bennett and Eric Young involved with Bray Wyatt in a stable that would have seen his puppets come to life.

The pitch reportedly made it to Bennett, including a pitch for him to perform as Sister Abigail, but never made it to Eric Young.

In a follow up, Fightful notes that there were significant creative plans for Eric Young upon him re-signing with the company last year.

Young requested his release from the company back in April, with his non-compete expiring and him making his return to IMPACT at Slammiversary this past weekend.

Young never appeared back on WWE television, but his creative plans would have seen him be involved in a new-style version of the Wyatt Family alongside Wyatt and Uncle Howdy.

The creative plans were reportedly set in January, with them having had kicked off after WrestleMania, but with Wyatt sidelined due to an illness and he and Howdy not being on television, those plans never happened.

By the time the angle would have kicked off, Young had asked for his release from the company, citing moral, creative and personal reasons for not wanting to work with Vince McMahon after the Endeavor sale brought him officially back into the fold.

On top of just Eric Young, there were also reportedly pitches for Alexa Bliss to join the group, which were obviously nixed due to her leaving on maternity leave.
