Dominik Mysterio Explains Why He Is Better Than His Father Rey Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio has explained why he is better than his father Rey Mysterio.

At WWE WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio defeated his son Dominik Mysterio in a grudge match.

Since then, both men have won singles gold in WWE with “Dirty” Dom winning the NXT North American Championship and Rey winning the United States Championship.

The younger Mysterio has quickly become one of WWE’s most hated heels with some of the loudest reactions given to the Judgment Day member in the past few months.

In an interview with In The Kliq, Dominik Mysterio explained why he believes he is now the better Mysterio. He said:

“I don’t think there will ever be a next Rey Mysterio..not because he is my dad but because the Mysterio that matters is me..”

“I’m the one out here putting the Mysterio name on my back taking my NXT North American title to all 3 countries in North America, that is Canada, Mexico and the United States..no one’s ever done that,”

“Dirty” Dom continued on to talk about how he has become a fixture across all three shows in WWE, saying:

“The fact that I’m out here, I’m main eventing all three show in one week, literally the main event of RAW every week..like I’m like, there is no next Rey Mysterio, I’m the Mysterio that matters, plain and simple,”

Dominik Mysterio last wrestled in a win over Dragon Lee to retain the NXT North American Championship on the September 25 edition of WWE Raw.
