Interesting Drew McIntyre WWE Alliance Tease You May Have Missed

Drew McIntyre was spotted having a conversation backstage with an interesting name during this week’s WWE Raw taping.

McIntyre had a big presence during Monday’s (March 25) Raw episode in Chicago, confronting CM Punk in his hometown.

After Seth Rollins joined the mix, it was revealed that CM Punk will be on commentary for the Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 40.

While this segment got many fans talking, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Drew McIntyre’s night didn’t end here.

During a backstage segment on the show, R-Truth and The Miz interrupted DIY and The New Day.

Towards the end of the segment, everyone cleared off, leaving R-Truth and The Miz to share their final messages for one another.

These two weren’t the only stars in the shot however, with Drew McIntyre and Paul Heyman talking in the background while the segment was finishing up.

Interestingly, something similar happened ahead of Drew McIntyre teaming with the Judgment Day at Survivor Series WarGames, with McIntyre spotted in the background backstage talking to Rhea Ripley ahead of the November 2023 match.

It’s unclear what Heyman and McIntyre were talking about, but Paul Heyman’s Bloodline faction is also currently at odds with Seth Rollins, who will be Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania 40 opponent.

Ahead of defending his World Heavyweight Championship against McIntyre, Seth Rollins will team with Cody Rhodes to face off against The Rock and Roman Reigns on WrestleMania 40 Saturday.

While McIntyre has previously discussed his hatred for the Bloodline after the group’s interference cost him his Universal Championship match at Clash At The Castle 2022, McIntyre recently capitalised on Solo Sikoa’s interference in his match against Cody Rhodes on the February 19 Raw episode.
