It has sadly emerged that Dustin Diamond, best known as ‘Screech’ in Saved by the Bell, has passed away at the age of 44.
TMZ reports that Diamond passed away Monday morning, just a couple of weeks after completing his first round of chemotherapy for stage-four lung cancer.
Diamond appeared on the September 18, 2002 edition of NWA/TNA in a “boxing match” against ‘The Bellkeeper’.

He had also made appearances in Memphis Championship Wrestling a couple of years prior.
In 2008, he made it to the final four in Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship wrestling, which was won by Dennis Rodman.
