EC3 Has High Praise For IMPACT Star (Exclusive)

In an exclusive interview with WrestleTalk on the Wrestle2 YouTube channel, EC3 had high praise for one particular IMPACT Wrestling star.

That star is Moose, who beat EC3 in a pre-taped cinematic match that aired during the Bound for Glory pay-per-view last year.

Speaking about Moose and his potential, EC3 said:

“When I was coming back there (IMPACT), that was definitely something I suggested to be the arc of my return. And then because we knew we were only going to go to Bound for Glory, we can leave it open-ended and ambiguous on what I do in the future when the world sorts itself out. So the Moose thing came about, ironically enough he came into my layer, my shop, www.justifiedprints.com, which is also serving as our studio where we shoot our content. I have made a grey wall semi famous on social media. He wanted to do a promo against it, and I was like ‘yeah, I’d love to have you come by’, have my buddy produce it. Because I know his potential. And it was about when that hooded figure was coming back to IMPACT Wrestling, who’s it gonna be? And he wanted to do a promo for his own sake talking about that. And he’s doing this promo, and it’s a wrestling promo, it’s okay, he’s going through names: EY, Sting, Angle – he’s just kinda going through them, but then he brought me up. And there was kinda like a switch in him. There was something coming from inside him, from his heart, and I saw who he truly was and he was probably finally the shell from who he thought he should be to who he actually is. And it came out when he started talking about me. I was very interested, and I’m like ‘You know what? If I can do all this stuff for myself, maybe now I can use it to help somebody else and create somebody else or send them on their way and make them slightly better’. So it was kind of an experiment to see if that would work, and then pitching that to IMPACT and they were down with it. I wrote a way-too-many-worded story arc of what I saw happening. They liked it, and we kinda ran with it. So, yeah, I definitely came back for him. Because I see so much in him because he’s legit. And I see so few legitimate people that I wouldn’t want every want to fight in real life, who might not get the respect they deserve from a desensitised wrestling fanbase. This guy is, when he was punching me and just pummelling me and I’m taking it, like ‘My God, I would never fight you ever for real, this sucks’. Somebody with some intimidation behind him, somebody real, somebody legit, and I think he’s that guy.”

EC3 also revealed that he’d taped a cinematic match with Moose before he actually knew the Bound for Glory one would be cinematic, so we never got to see it.

Moose has acutally been added to the Hard To Kill main event tonight as Alex Shelley had to pull out. So it’ll be Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson vs Rich Swann, Chris Sabin & Moose.
