It was recently announced that former ROH World Champion Davey Richards would be returning to wrestling. Now, Richards’ tag team partner Eddie Edwards has commented on his return.
Fightful Select (subscription required) recently reported Edwards’ comments on his partner’s return. Edwards said he still keeps in contact with Richards and is happy to hear that he is returning.
Edwards also said that he has learned to never say never when it comes to the wrestling business. Additionally, he mentioned he would be open to teaming with Richards again, saying ‘The Wolves’ era of his career is important to him.
Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards wrestled often as partners and opponents, having won the ROH and TNA Tag Team Championships together on multiple occassions.
Their team officially ended in February 2017, leading to an extended rivalry between the two.
