When most people think of CM Punk, they think of his time in WWE and his time in AEW where he is one of the most popular and well-respected people on the roster.
However, there are of course those who will remember him for his less than successful run in MMA, where he lost both of his professional matches.
Punk and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff have been fighting on Twitter over the past few days, with the former telling fans to ignore Bischoff, who has been vocal on his 83 Weeks podcast with his opinion that AEW will never be as big as WWE.
Wrestling twitter needs to stop amplifying all the old head bad faith bad take carny dipshits. They had their moment in the sun. Let them die in the dark with their ego podcasts. Quote me. pic.twitter.com/ryMcGSW10u

Seemingly irked by Punk’s words, Bischoff fired back several times, and eventually took a shot at Punk’s MMA career.
He convinced himself since he could win scripted fights, he could win a real one. https://t.co/HP0vpu6muZ

Punk and Bischoff are both famous for not pulling punches on social media, so when the two collide, it’s not surprising to see sparks flying.
Hopefully they have both had their fun now, and will relax and be happy.
