Eva Marie In Talks For WWE Comeback

Following her elimination from the US version of Celebrity Big Brother this past week, Eva Marie spoke with TV Insider’s Scott Fishman about her future plans and dropped some interesting tidbits about recent conversations she has had with WWE.

Eva said he had talked with the promotion about a possible return, nothing that “there has been emails and talk and exchanges back and forth”.

Although she was not invited to be part of the Royal Rumble – nor were most WWE legends from the women’s ranks, so that does not tell us much – she reiterated that “there has definitely been talks, for sure”.

Eva noted that she still had the “itch” for wrestling, praising the current crop of women on the roster for “killing it right now” and pointing out that she “absolutely loves” wrestling.

“If the opportunity arises and the timing is how it’s supposed to be, I definitely would come back to shake things up because I can always bring the heat. That’s for sure.”

The 34 year old was with WWE from 2013-2017, debuting as a cast member on Total Divas. She has only wrestled just over 100 matches in her career, with her last match a defeat to Becky Lynch on a Fort Wayne, Indiana house show in July 2016.

Eva Marie was never a good worker but she showed definite signs of improvement following a spell training under Brian Kendrick and wrestling on NXT television. Nevertheless, her possible return may be another hint that WWE is taking as many steps backwards as it is forwards with its women’s division at the moment.

Would you like to see Eva Marie return to WWE? Does she have anything to offer in 2019? Let us know in the comments below.
