Ex-AEW Star Makes WWE Debut With New Entrance & Name

Ex-AEW Star Makes WWE Debut With New Entrance & Name WWE/AEW

A former AEW star has officially made their WWE debut tonight at night one of NXT Halloween Havoc.

After several weeks of vignettes teasing their arrival, a new star known to fans from AEW has debuted with a new entrance and name.

Unlike Cody Rhodes returning to WWE and keeping much of his presentation the same, there have been several big changes for Lexis King (formerly known as Brian Pillman Jr in AEW).

Lexis King maintained his signature flowing blonde hair but had a rock inspired entrance and theme ahead of his match against Dante Chen – his entrance even included sliding out onto the stage on a throne.

In the end the match wasn’t entirely a squash match with Chen being able to get in some offense, but in the end, King would win his debut with a unique finisher.

According to commentary, they didn’t know the name of the move however we’ll be sure to keep you updated if the finisher gets named soon!
