A former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and NJPW legend is set to make an IMPACT Wrestling appearance on next week’s show.
Last night, Satoshi Kojima was advertised for next week’s episode of IMPACT. A video package introduced IMPACT fans the Japanese wrestling veteran.
IMPACT also posted the video to Twitter:

Kojima first entered the NJPW dojo in 1991. He was extremely successful in the promotion, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice, and the IWGP Tag Team Title on 7 different occasions. The veteran has also wrestled for the likes of AJPW, NWA, ROH and CMLL.
IMPACT has been visited by many NJPW competitors this year, from El Phantasmo to former IMPACT Tag Team Champions FinJuice. NJPW President Takami Ohbari has revealed why the Forbidden Door has finally been opened.
It was previously reported that Don Callis is no longer an executive in any capacity for IMPACT or Anthem. A new report has revealed that an interesting Don Callis angle was planned, prior to him being removed as an executive on the IMPACT website.
