A former AAA and Lucha Underground star has lost an MMA fight via technical knockout at Combate Global: Combate Latina.
Sexy Star made her MMA debut in April 2019 after signing with Combate Américas. Star recently suffered the first loss of her MMA career.
Star (Dulce García) faced off against Muay Thai specialist Claudia Diaz at the April 30 event. Despite Star being considered the favorite heading into the fight, Diaz won in convincing fashion, earning a TKO victory in the second round.
Combate Global celebrated Diaz’ win, tweeting:

Star has been a controversial figure in pro-wrestling since shoot-attacking Rosemary in 2017. Numerous reports after this incident claimed that Star shoot-wrestled on a number of different occasions.
Another Lucha Underground alumnus who made headlines this week was Marty Casaus (fka Marty “The Moth” Martinez). Casaus made his return to wrestling on AEW Dark, losing to Brian Cage.
AEW President Tony Khan has recently revealed which WWE match he re-watches at least once per year. You can read about that here.
