Former WWE Spanish commentator Carlos Cabrera has now commented for the first time since his surprise move to AEW became official.
During the April 17 edition of AEW Dynamite, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that former WWE name Carlos Cabrera joined the company as the newest addition to their Spanish commentary team.
Following his move to the promotion, Carlos Cabrera took to social media to comment on his excitement on his new home. He wrote:
Thrilled to be #AllElite and at the @AEW Spanish announcers’ table! Thank you very much, @TonyKhan, for the worldwide announcement.
¡Emocionado de ser #AllElite y estar en la mesa de transmisión en español de @AEW! Muchísimas gracias, @TonyKhan, por el anuncio global.
Cabrera worked for WWE’s Spanish commentary team from 1993 to 2022. Being released in February 2022 after nearly 30 years with the company, Cabrera has since worked with Lucha Libre AAA.
