A former WWE star has hailed the “buzz” created by the events that unfolded at Survivor Series 2023 on November 25.
Taking to Twitter, Matt Cardona revealed that he felt energised by the events that transpired inside Chicago’s Allstate Arena and that other wrestlers should be feeling the same way.
Cardona said:
In my opinion, the buzz surrounding #SurvivorSeries is what makes pro wrestling like nothing else.
If you’re a wrestler in this business…at any level…whether you liked what happened or not…if last night didn’t light a fire under your ass, I don’t know what will.
MY ASS IS BURNING!!!

Survivor Series’ closing moments saw a one-two punch of major returns as Randy Orton stepped back inside a WWE ring to compete for the first time in 18 months inside WarGames.
Then, at the very end of the show, CM Punk made the most unlikeliest of returns as he returned to the company for the first time in almost a decade to a rapturous response from his hometown crowd.
Looking to capitalise on the massive buzz surrounding Survivor Series, WWE have announced that Punk and Orton will be live on Raw from Nashville, TN tonight (November 27).
