A former WWE star has provided an update on their contract status.
Taya Valkyrie has been quite busy since leaving WWE NXT with the former Frankie Monet working for AAA, MLW, NWA and IMPACT Wrestling at the moment. However, a new interview has revealed that she isn’t being anchored down by any one of those promotions.
Speaking with Fightful Select (subscription required), Taya revealed that she’s still technically a free agent and eligible to work anywhere she would like.
Valkyrie states that she’s enjoying that ability since leaving NXT, but also noted that 2023 might be the year she decides to look for a permanent home.
Taya told Fightful that MLW’s Court Bauer reached out to her to bring her into the company, and she’s enjoying her time there. She is also excited to work with 18-year old independent star Billie Starz, despite some trepidation regarding her age.
The former WWE NXT star said that adapting to different companies and their television presentation is not hard for her at this point in her career.
Taya also stated that she is open to coaching and producing, and stated that she wants to learn more about that process.
Taya Valkyrie is the current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion and IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
