A former WWE star has wrestled his first match in almost eight years according to footage captured at a recent event.
Former WWE Tag Team, Hardcore, Cruiserweight and European Champion Spike Dudley recently competed in his first match since December 20, 2015 at a recent Live Pro Wrestling event this past weekend.
Dudley’s return match saw him stand across from former ROH star LSG (Leon St. Giovanni) who tweeted footage (see below) of himself squaring off with the former WWE star.
LSG commented on the surreal face-off saying:
I wrestled Spike Dudley tonight. Life is crazy.
Don’t worry about the footage. Trust me, I beat him senseless afterwards.

Dudley departed WWE over 18 years ago in July 2005, going on to compete for TNA between 2006-2007 as well as sporadic appearances up until 2014.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet in 2020, Dudley revealed that he works as a financial planner, so it’s likely this return isn’t set to equate to a full-time return to the ring for the 53-year-old.
You can check out footage of Dudley’s return to the ring down below.
