Former WWE Star Recalls Secretly Training With Bryan Danielson While He Was Retired AEW

Former WWE star Mike Rallis, also known as Riddick Moss, has recalled secretly training with Bryan Danielson while he was retired.

Mike Rallis, previously known as Riddick Moss in WWE, did not get called up to the main roster until 2020, but he spent several years in the developmental system of NXT.

Spending a great deal of time in the WWE Performance Center, Rallis was able to work with many legendary stars, but there was one that had to keep it a secret.

During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Mike Rallis noted that he and Tenille Dashwood can possibly face Bryan and Brie Danielson in a mixed tag team match.

Recalling training with the former Daniel Bryan at the WWE Performance Center while he was retired and helped him gear up for a comeback, Rallis said:

“When [Bryan Danielson] was officially retired, I was called into the Performance Center for a super secret mission, and it was to train with him in the ring when no one else was allowed in there.”

“I was sworn to secrecy for that. I just gotta say, that guy is as good as advertised. I couldn’t believe how good he was in the ring. He was just so smooth.”

“Everything was exactly where it should be. He was amazing, and so I’ll take credit for his comeback,”

WWE released the former Riddick Moss during their latest round of budgets cuts following the TKO merger in September 2023.

Bryan Danielson retired in 2016 and has gone on to have a truly remarkable comeback since then. He won the WWE Championship in 2018, left WWE in 2021 and is now signed with AEW.
