Four NXT Stars Spotted At WWE Raw

Four NXT stars were spotted at tonight’s WWE Raw taping as they featured in matches in front of the live audience in Chicago, Illinois.

At the Main Event taping ahead of tonight’s WWE Raw, there were four NXT stars featured.

A tag team match that will presumably air on this Thursday’s edition of WWE Main event featured Hank Walker and Tank Ledger taking on Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.

The two NXT tag teams have made appearances on Main Event in the past with particularly Enofe and Blade having been looked at multiple times as of late.

It is not unusual for NXT stars to feature in dark matches for live audiences, and it doesn’t always mean a call-up is in the works, but for Enofe and Blade in particular, it has become a pattern recently, which could imply something further than just one-off throwaway appearances.

The other match taped for main event was Shayna Baszler vs Katana Chance.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, the feud over the WWE Women’s World Championship between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley exploded into a pull apart brawl.

Also, The Rock made an ‘unsettling’ unannounced appearance to kick off tonight’s WWE Raw, interrupting an in-ring segment with Cody Rhodes.

There was also an explosive segment featuring CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins which featured Punk referencing Jim Cornette, Vince McMahon, and confirming his role for WrestleMania.
