Dax Harwood has teased that FTR will soon enter a feud with the AEW Tag Team Champions Swerve In Our Glory.
Harwood and Cash Wheeler currently hold tag titles for AAA, ROH and NJPW (IWGP), but haven’t held AEW gold since late 2020.
Harwood has now taken to Twitter with a photo of the AEW Tag Team Championship belts, captioning the post:
“Alright, let’s get back to work.”
The most recent (August 31) AEW rankings update saw FTR take the top spot in the tag-team rankings, behind current champions Swerve in our Glory.
Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland won the title on the June 13 edition of Dynamite: Fyter Fest. They recently defended the gold against The Acclaimed at All Out.
The Acclaimed are slated to challenge for the title once again at Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 21.
FTR’s most recent title defence took place at Death Before Dishonor in July, with Harwood and Wheeler defeating The Briscoes in a 2/3 falls match to retain their ROH Tag Team Championship.
Harwood recently challenged for Claudio Castagnoli’s ROH World Championship on the September 9 edition of Rampage.
