Greg Hamilton Apologises For SmackDown Performance, Says His Partner Has COVID-19

WWE SmackDown ring announcer Greg Hamilton has apologised for his perfomance on last night’s show and revealed that his partner has COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter, Hamilton wrote:

Tonight was tough. my “fiancé” has COVID….I am “proposing” to her soon…but yes…I was not at my best tonight. I owe you all an apology. You Expect the best from me; and I should deliver. Tonight; I didn’t. I’m sorry; she is my everything. She is sick. And I’m not there.

This comes after a concerned fan asked Hamilton if he was okay after noticing him shaking during SmackDown, to which he responded:

My best friend, my wife has Covid. I’m broken. I am s so broken.

He has since provided an update, tweeting:
