Grudge Match Announced For WWE Survivor Series WWE

A grudge match has been announced for next Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series: War Games premium live event from Chicago.

On the November 10 episode of SmackDown, Santos Escobar betrayed Rey Mysterio with a beatdown.

To explain his actions, Escobar talked about how Mysterio had wronged him during their time together in the LWO on tonight’s November 17 edition of SmackDown.

This led to Zelina Vega coming out to slap Escobar for his actions and words, but Santos went on to beat down Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde from behind until Carlito came out to make the save.

Later in the show, it was announced that Carlito will go one-on-one with Santos Escobar in a grudge match next Saturday, November 25 at WWE Survivor Series.

It remains to be seen if the rest of the LWO members will be present at ringside for this bout at the time of this writing.

As previously reported, Rey Mysterio is set to miss six to eight weeks due to a torn meniscus injury.
