A new report has revealed how many matches remain on Brock Lesnar’s current WWE contract, following his return to the company.
At SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar made his first WWE appearance since WrestleMania 36, coming face to face with Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
As per Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar has signed on for 8-12 matches with WWE. It was specified that these 8-12 dates do not include TV appearances.
Fightful Select had previously reported that Lesnar’s contract is for “roughly a year and a half, and at least 8 matches”. The deal is reportedly always available to be changed or be negotiated further.
Lesnar will reportedly be working as a babyface on SmackDown moving forward. The Beast hasn’t been a babyface in WWE since the early 2000s.
