Here’s How Many Matches WWE Plans To Announce For WrestleMania 38 WWE

Backstage details have emerged on the number of matches WWE plans to add to the line-up for WrestleMania 38 in April.

Not including the Kevin Owens Show confrontation set to feature Stone Cold Steve Austin, nine matches have been announced for the two night event.

Per WrestleVotes, WWE plans to announce up to seven more bouts for the April 2-3 shows, for a maximum of 16 matches in total.

Noting that the ‘biggest domino’ yet to fall is Seth Rollins, WrestleVotes tweeted:

“With 9 matches official for WrestleMania so far, not including KO/Austin, source states to expect up to 7 more matches to be announced. The biggest domino yet to fall is Seth Rollins, for obvious reasons.”

WWE reportedly plans for Seth Rollins to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38, if Rhodes chooses to return to the company. You can read the latest update on discussions between WWE and Rhodes at this link.

Several major matches have been announced for the event, including a Winner Takes All Title Unification bout between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
