Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) has hailed the abilities of a notable backstage WWE name after making his Monday Night Raw return on November 17.
After much speculation throughout the past week, TNA Wrestling’s Nic Nemeth was revealed as the mystery opponent of Solo Sikoa in the John Cena Last Time is Now tournament on WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden.
Returning under his Dolph Ziggler name, the former two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion reminded fans why he was long known as the “Show-Off”, with he and Sikoa delivering an exciting bout with multiple memorable near falls for Nemeth.
While he would ultimately lose the match, Nemeth spoke glowingly about the experience whilst appearing on Busted Open Radio today, sharing some high praise for former WWE tag team partner Bobby Roode in particular – who worked as the producer for his WWE return match
“The in between for a lot of stuff was Bobby Roode, who was a badass wrestler and we got to tag together and he’s the agent and he’s even better at agenting than he is in the ring… It was so cool to go back and forth with him before we figured everything out…
“…He’s good, he’s jacked, he knows how to do this, but he’s so smart that he can translate that to being an agent backstage or producer and he can help everybody, not in the way you’re like ‘oh I was an old time wrestler and I have no way to pay my rent so I’ll come be an agent’, he’s a huge get for WWE.
“I thought he’d be like ‘here’s what they want’ but he was just like ‘I’ll be here, I’ve got a couple of ideas, you guys put this together and I’ll be here for it.'”

Continuing, Nemeth also offered praise for his opponent Solo Sikoa, saying the SmackDown star has improved significantly since he left in the company:
“Luckily he (Bobby Roode) trusted me and Solo was easy, that dude was good when I left and now he’s 10x better, he was already good but he’s on his way to being really good.”
