Having beaten Shinsuke Nakamura at Money in the Bank for what feels like the 35th time in the past two months, AJ Styles is now ready to find out who his next challenger is.
There are five superstars who would could argue deserve a shot at the title, but unfortunately there are no match types available where one winner can come from a five person match…
OH WAIT!
Following the success of the men’s gauntlet match on raw a couple of months ago, and passing over the women’s gauntlet match, a gauntlet match has been booked for SmackDown Live tonight, with the winner going on to face AJ Styles at Extreme Rules in July.
But who is in the match?
Well, WWE’s Twitter account made the match announcement, and informed fans that Samoa Joe, Rusev, Big E, The Miz and Daniel Bryan will all take part.

If I had it my way, this match should be at least half of the show. There’s enough talent in there to justify it, and we should see some great encounters.
The Miz and Daniel Bryan could square off in preparation for their heavily rumoured future feud, and basically Daniel Bryan and anyone else in the match.
I feel like Joe has to be the favourite for this one, as he seems to be getting the biggest SmackDown push. There are also rumours of a Big E push in the works, so don’t be surprised if the power of positivity takes home the victory.
