Huge Name Expected To Return To WWE

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that there is an expectation within WWE that former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will be at WrestleMania 37 next year.

In the latest issue, Meltzer was going through the WWE names who weren’t picked by either Raw or SmackDown in the draft. When it came to Rousey, Meltzer noted that WWE expected her to work next year’s ‘Mania:

“[Ronda] Rousey is still under contract and was expected to do WrestleMania in Los Angeles.”

The report does not that Rousey “was expected” to work WrestleMania 37, which implies that it’s not off the table and won’t be happening. At this time, there is no word on WWE’s current feelings towards a potential Ronda Rousey return.

Ronda was last seen at WrestleMania 35, where she was pinned in the first-ever women’s main event of the show by Becky Lynch. This came one year after her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34.

It has been reported that WrestleMania 37 will actually be taking place in Tampa instead of Los Angeles. For the latest on that, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
