A huge name is reportedly set to miss his WWE Hall of Fame induction and won’t be appearing at this year’s ceremony.
Batista was named in the 2020 Hall of Fame class, but there wasn’t a ceremony last year due to COVID-19, so WWE will be inducting last year’s class this year.
However, Ringside News – which has a good track record of WWE backstage reports in recent times – is reporting that Batista is not currently slated to appear.
This comes after Fightful Select reported that changes have been made to this year’s lineup.
As of now, it is unknown why Batista isn’t slated to appear, but we’ll keep you updated.
The plan is reportedly for WWE to tape the Hall of Fame show on Tuesday, March 30, and Thursday, April 1. It will then air taped on Tuesday, April 6.
So far for the 2021 class, Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff have been announced.
