Earlier today, it was announced that WWE was bringing back another old PPV name for an upcoming NXT TakeOver show, with NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day being added to the calendar.
The show will take place on February 14, so cancel your Valentine’s plans, I’m sure your date will understand.
It seems we now know what the main event of the show is going to be, as Finn Balor accepted a challenge from Pete Dunne on tonight’s episode of NXT.

What makes the match even more interesting is that Royal Rumble winner Edge showed up on NXT to inform Dunne and Balor that he would be watching the winner of the Vengeance Day match very closely, as he may think about challenging the champion at WrestleMania.
The report as of now is that Edge will actually be challenging Roman Reigns in April, but it’s fun for him to be making the rounds and threatening all the champions.
