Hulk Hogan stoked the imagination of WWE fans on Monday when he revealed a video of his journey to Miami – the site of last night’s Raw.

However, to the disappointment of some, Hogan’s tease was just that. It turns out the purpose of the ‘Hulkster’s visit involved playing bass for Cedric Gervais in a new music video.
Everyone had a blast today with @CedricGervais new video shoot and I have to admit it was fun shredding like the good old days brother. Hollywood Hogan tearing down the house, AGAIN! ”2Sweet, it’s not just a tag line. It’s 4Life. Hollywood HH pic.twitter.com/GNbW0x95Xu

Hogan has previously shown interest in pursuing a career as a bassist. In an interview on the Kerrang! podcast, he revealed that he would have given-up wrestling had he been given the chance to play bass for Metallica. Naturally, playing bass in an upcoming music video is a great opportunity for the reinstated Hall of Famer.
Of course, he’s no stranger to playing instruments in music videos:
Given the backstage trepidation regarding Hogan’s possible return, perhaps it’s best he stay away from the Raw locker room for the time being. His return seems imminent, but a slight buffer might give him an opportunity to convince others of the sincerity of his apology.
His return to wrestling notwithstanding, Hogan’s presence in the upcoming music video could provide buzz for both Gervais’ music and the ‘Hulkster’ overall. Who knows, he might find himself playing with Metallica next.
