Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has shared high praise for a current WWE star, believing that this star is keeping the art form of wrestling alive.
The Miz is a somewhat polarising WWE star. While some fans love him for his consistency and character work, others argue that there are more interesting names to watch rather than the ‘King of Soft Style’.
Speaking with Theo Von on his This Past Weekend podcast, Hogan interrupted Von to praise the former WWE Champion.
Believing that The Miz one of a handful of WWE stars who understand the business, Hogan said:
“That brother is keeping this art form alive.
“Every time I see him, I tell him how much I love him for what he’s done because he understands this business a lot more than most of the guys do.
“There’s probably two or three guys that I can pick out that understand that business. He’s one of them. And he gets it.”
The Miz most recently wrestled on the July 10 edition of Raw, defeating Tommaso Ciampa following interference from Bronson Reed.
This actually marked the star’s first pinfall victory of 2023.
Prior to July 10, The Miz’ most recent pinfall win saw him defeat Johnny Gargano on the November 7, 2022 Raw episode.
