Tasha Steelz Believes She Doesn’t Need A Door To Show Up In AEW IMPACT

An IMPACT Wrestling star believes they don’t need a door to show up in AEW.

All Elite Wrestling has become synonymous with the term “forbidden door” due to the company’s habit of using talent from companies such as NJPW, ROH, AAA and IMPACT Wrestling on their programs.

Earlier this year, current IMPACT star Deonna Purrazzo headlined the May 4 edition of AEW Dynamite in a title unification match for the ROH Women’s World Title against Mercedes Martinez.

However, fans haven’t seen the Knockouts division represented in All Elite Wrestling since then.

Speaking with The Bob Culture Podcast during Baltimore CelebFest, Tasha Steelz discussed her current run in IMPACT Wrestling when the conversation of her debuting in AEW came up.

Steelz said:

“I chopped it up with the Baddies, and the Baddies all have agreed that Flava needs to be added. I think a lot of Flava needs to be added. So you just never know. You never know. Fire ‘n’ Flava has never died. Fire ‘n’ Flava will still continue beyond. So yeah, AEW, I don’t need a door to go through. I can get in any kind of way. I just show up. How can they deny that? I kinda tweeted to Jade, she’ll see it sometime, that I run the Baddies now. Look at me, I am the captain now.”

Tasha Steelz has been having a successful 2022, defeating Mickie James to win her first IMPACT Knockouts World Championship in March.

Steelz has interacted and teased a rivalry with current AEW star and TBS Champion Jade Cargill on social media.
