It’s being reported that IMPACT Wrestling tried to get a WWE Hall of Famer and former TNA World Champion in for the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
As we’ve already covered on the site, PWInsider reported that Kurt Angle is set to be at WWE Survivor Series, likely for Undertaker’s “final farewell”.
The report actually also noted that IMPACT tried to get Angle in for Bound For Glory on October 24.
The report specifically states:
At one point, there was a strong pitch made by Impact Wrestling to bring Angle in with the idea that he would return at Bound for Glory, but for whatever reason, the talks faltered.
