Some interesting details regarding a particular segment on yesterday’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown have come to light.
As documented by WrestlingNews.co the segment featuring Bayley and Sasha Banks was shot with no fans in attendance inside the Performance Center, but crowd noise was piped in anyway.
The only people present in the building while the segment was filmed were Banks, Bayley, the cameraman and the announcers.
A green screen was implemented for the addition of Stephanie McMahon coming up on the titantron, which you may not have noticed on first viewing, but now it’s been pointed out you’ll be able to see it looks different.
There’s no real word on why all this happened other than, as has been reported throughout the week, WWE’s TV tapings have been nothing short of chaotic, and the company has seemed rather unorganised.
The segment ended up revealing that next Friday there will be a Battle Royal featuring names from Raw, SmackDown and NXT to determine who will challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam.
