Interesting Women’s Segment Set For SmackDown

WWE has announced a segment for SmackDown involving their WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax will appear on Bayley’s show, “Ding Dong, Hello!”.

The two have been involved with Naomi and Lana recently and will likely address them during tonight’s show. Here is the official preview for the segment from WWE.com:

“Last week, after being taken down in back-to-back matches by Lana and Naomi, respectively, on Raw, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler were further humiliated on the blue brand by SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and 2021 Royal Rumble Match winner Bianca Belair.

This week, after getting some payback on the red brand, the titleholders will return to Friday night as guests on Bayley’s show, “Ding Dong, Hello!” What does the dominant tandem have in store for the blue brand? Don’t miss SmackDown, tonight at 8/7 C on FOX.”

It was reported earlier by Fightful Select that a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match was tentatively planned for Elimination Chamber. Naomi and Lana had been the planned opponents but it was not clear whether they would be part of the match.

WWE has also announced Edge will open SmackDown in a face to face segment with Roman Reigns. Additionally, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Daniel Bryan will face Jey Uso, King Corbin, and Sami Zayn.
