IYO SKY on X
Congratulations are in order for WWE’s IYO SKY and Naraku (fka EVIL), as they’ve announced that they recently tied the knot.
While they were once competing on opposite sides of the globe, IYO SKY and Naraku are now together in WWE following the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion signing with the company in April.
Now that their exciting new chapter has begun together in the United States, IYO SKY has announced that she and Naraku are now officially a married couple.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, May 17, IYO SKY issued a statement announcing the news, along with wedding images of herself and her new husband:
“To all of you who have always given us your warm support. We would like to announce that NARAKU (formerly EVIL) and IYO SKY (formerly Io Shirai), both currently with WWE, are now husband and wife.
“Having started our professional wrestling careers in Japan, we have each seen different landscapes and different “skies,” but from this early summer, we will be able to compete on the same stage across the ocean in WWE, becoming colleagues and comrades.
“We feel a deep sense of connection and joy in this. From now on, as husband and wife, we will support each other in our daily lives, and as WWE “superstars,” we will share both the loneliness of “darkness” and the glory, pushing each other to improve and striving to shine even brighter.
“We will never forget our gratitude to all the fans and those involved who have supported and guided us so far, and we intend to push forward together towards even greater heights. We are still inexperienced, but we would appreciate your continued guidance and support.”

We at WrestleTalk extend our congratulations to both IYO SKY and Naraku on their marriage.
Naraku Aiming To Replicate His Wife’s Success In WWE NXT
With his first win now under his belt in WWE, Naraku looks set to be a major player on the brand, as he sets his sights on NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo.
While he’s not the only one gunning for that title, Naraku has declared that he’s going to “take over” NXT, and to do so, it seems like a run with the brand’s top title is an absolute must.
Naruku’s now wife, IYO SKY is of course no stranger to success in WWE NXT either, having spent over three years on the brand and capturing both the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships.
If Naraku was to win the NXT Championship, he and IYO would join Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch as the only husband and wife pairing to have held the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship.
