Former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has made a trademark filing ahead of her WWE in-ring debut.
Per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), Cargill, through ‘Jade Cargill LLC’, filed an application to trademark her name ‘JADE CARGILL’ on October 11.
According to the filing, Cargill intends for the trademark to cover categories related to ‘Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests’.
The following description accompanied the filing:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer;
Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;
Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network;
Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes
Cargill has made several brief WWE TV appearances, first showing up during the pre-show of the October 7 Fastlane premium live event.
Since then, Cargill has appeared on NXT, and more notably, has confronted Charlotte Flair on SmackDown. Cargill and Flair came face to face in a backstage segment on the October 13 episode.
