Jason Jordan Becomes A Father

2020 has given us its fair share of heavy headlines, but it has also given us plenty of wrestling births and baby announcements, and we have another one to bring us some much needed joy.

Jason Jordan took to his Twitter account on Father’s Day to announce the birth of his first child, Ava Rose Everhart. Saying of her arrival, “I couldn’t have asked for a better 1st Father’s Day!!”.

Jordan first revealed he and his wife April were expecting their daughter in December via his Twitter account. This is the first child for the couple, who have been married since 2017.

A true man of the business, Jordan kept kayfabe alive when someone asked him on Twitter what he got his on-screen father, Kurt Angle, for Father’s Day. Jordan’s reply? “A granddaughter!”

Jordan, who is currently working for WWE in a backstage producer role, appears to have ended his in-ring career due to injuries, according to multiple reports. He wrestled his last on-screen match at the 2018 Royal Rumble, where he and Seth Rollins lost the Raw Tag Team Championship to The Bar, (Sheamus and Cesaro).

WrestleTalk sends our congratulations and best wishes to the couple on their next generation of great.
