An update has emerged regarding Jey Uso’s status after an incident during his match at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025.
Last night’s WWE Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event played host to the reunion of Jimmy and Jey Uso, with the eight-time WWE Tag Team Champions taking on The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
With LA Knight added to the equation as the special guest referee, the match saw very lax restrictions in place, leading to both teams introducing utilising weapons such as steel chairs and a table.
Towards the end of the bout, Jey Uso hit Bron Breakker on the back with a chair, however, the chair appeared to ricochet off Breakker’s back and strike Jey in the face, immediately busting the former World Heavyweight Champion open.
In an update on Jey’s status, the Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez has revealed in his Wrestlepalooza report that Jey was placed in concussion protocol as a result of the incident.
It’s not clear whether Jey suffered a concussion as of yet, but we will provide further updates on his status as more information becomes available.
We at WrestleTalk wish Jey all the best in his recovery.
