Jim Ross has now shared a positive health update following his return to AEW TV after an onscreen hiatus.
The AEW commentator returned to the announcer’s desk on the August 5 edition of Collision.
This marked his first AEW appearance since the June 17 episode, after which JR announced that he’d be taking some time away.
Jim Ross has now taken to Twitter to share some good news, noting that a recent MRI scan confirmed that his cancer didn’t spread to his tibia bone.
Ross tweeted:
GOOD NEWS!
MRI came back negative!
No cancer in my tibia. 🙏
Ross previously underwent a number of radiation therapy sessions in 2021 to treat his skin cancer. He announced that he was cancer free in December 2021.
More recently, Ross revealed that he had to go to the emergency room because of concerns about his radiation wound from cancer treatment.
When discussing this health scare, Ross noted that his radiation wound has been healing, just slowly.
Jim Ross previously addressed rumors about his retirement, which you can read more about right here.
