Absent from in-ring action since the May 11 episode of WWE Raw, Joe Hendry may be set to make an appearance on tonight’s episode.
The June 22 episode of WWE Raw comes live from The O2 Arena in London, England, with an earlier start time of 2 PM ET, streaming on Netflix.
PWInsiderElite has reported that Joe Hendry has been spotted in England’s capital city ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.
The report notes that Hendry has stated, in interviews, that he has been absent from WWE as he has been “healing up”, with his last match seeing him team with The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) in a victory over The Vision (Austin Theory, Bron Breakker & Logan Paul).
With the WWE European Summer Tour underway, the report also notes that Hendry hasn’t been on any of current dates in the United Kingdom, suggesting he has been brought in specifically for a TV appearance on Raw.
While Hendry’s involvement on Raw is yet to be confirmed, the star has recently revealed that he and WWE have recorded an album, with a summer release date.
For Joe Hendry, The Time Is Now
Success after success, Joe Hendry has seen his career in WWE rise at an impressive rate, with the star achieving the double whammy of fan appreciation for his in-ring work and promo skills.
Signed to a WWE contract in November 2025, he was already very much the face of the partnership with TNA Wrestling, being hand-selected to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 earlier that year.
Recent history isn’t the only time that Hendry has found himself in WWE’s orbit, however, with the star recently looking back at his first tryout. While he would make a number of non-wrestling appearances, being well remembered as Lana’s lawyer, he reflect on a tryout and a somewhat embarrassing story involving William Regal, a piece of rice, and the mess that it all became.
Watching Hendry over the past decade, it’s become clear that he’s taken every opportunity, every setback and every success to navigate a path to where he is today. Obstacles may have presented themselves, but they’ve helped shape a star who was seemingly always destined for greatness.
There was little doubt that, with the partnership with WWE bringing him to NXT, Hendry would eventually part ways with TNA Wrestling, where he had been a former World Champion, as he continues to move towards the greater opportunities that lie in his future.
Absence from WWE television will no doubt make the heart grow fonder for both Hendry and the fans who have got behind the charismatic character, and there’s little doubt that his return will be well-regarded, hopefully with a new song.
