With a semifinals victory over Raquel Rodriguez on WWE Raw, IYO SKY has set her sights on the Queen of the Ring final, taking place on June 27.

Night of Champions sees IYO SKY face Liv Morgan in the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament, with the winner going on to a world championship opportunity at SummerSlam in August.

IYO SKY is confident that she will be the one to receive the Queen’s crown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, sharing her thoughts in a video on Twitter, saying:

“Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yeeessssss, today, I took down that dreaded Raquel (Rodriguez) from Judgment Day!

Liv Morgan is the current Women’s World Champion, with Rhea Ripley holding the WWE Women’s Championship, and SKY would have the chance to challenge either if she captures the Queen of the Ring crown.

Liv Morgan: Women’s World Champion & Queen of the Ring Finalist

With the winner of the Queen of the Ring final going on to a title shot for either the WWE Women’s Championship or Women’s World Championship, it’s curious that Liv Morgan, the holder of the latter, was part of the tournament to begin with.

Morgan has recently stated “I am better than everyone else and I want it ALL”, suggesting that a victory would see her face Rhea Ripley, a star with whom she has a much storied history, at SummerSlam. A win at the August Premium Live Event would see Morgan holding both championships, spreading her reach to SmackDown.

For IYO SKY, however, there would be a degree of drama in the star defeating Morgan and opting to face Ripley, playing with their friendship and the respect that they have built that has seen RHIYO hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in their time together.

Much of Morgan’s reason for being, particularly as a member of Judgment Day, has been built around being in a dominant position, and holding two titles in a “Winner Takes All” match would certainly achieve that goal.

While Morgan has made it to the Queen of the Ring final, Dominik Mysterio was less successful in the King of the Ring counterpart, falling to Oba Femi in the semi-final, who now heads to Night of Champions to take on Jey Uso.
