WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has reacted to Oba Femi defeating Dominik Mysterio in their King of the Ring semifinal match.

We now know one of the men set to compete in the 2026 King of the Ring tournament finals, with The Ruler advancing on this week’s Raw episode.

The June 15 show saw Oba Femi defeat Dominik Mysterio and move one step closer to the King of the Ring crown.

Liv Morgan has now taken to social media to react to Mysterio’s loss. The Women’s World Champion tweeted:

You’re still my King 🫶🥹👑

Dominik Mysterio responded with black love hearts, and a GIF of Han Solo saying:

I know

This iconic line came after Princess Leia told Han that she loved him in The Empire Strikes Back.

Oba Femi’s win over Dominik Mysterio was significant, not only for sending him to the tournament finals, but now because Femi has beaten another current singles champion.

Mysterio currently holds AAA’s top prize, the AAA Mega Championship, which he won from El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas in September 2025.

Oba Femi technically holds a multi-man match victory over Intercontinental Champion Penta, who was one of the participants in the King of the Ring first round four-way match which Femi won on the June 1 Raw episode.

Femi didn’t pin Penta in this match – instead scoring a fall over Solo Sikoa. His victory over AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio was more definitive, with Femi pinning him after less than five minutes of action.

While WWE can be criticised for not protecting the top champion of its Mexican brand, it seems more of a “Oba Femi is unstoppable” situation, rather than a “we don’t care about AAA” scenario.

WWE has gone to greater lengths recently to showcase AAA across its programming, with Rey Fenix defending his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Axiom on the June 12 SmackDown episode.

With Dominik Mysterio recently stating that he felt WWE didn’t know what to do with him, it will be interesting to see what’s next for the AAA Mega Champion.
