WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has praised Jade Cargill for how she handled herself following her wardrobe malfunction on SmackDown.

The June 12 SmackDown episode saw Cargill face off against Lyra Valkyria, Sol Ruca and eventual winner Charlotte Flair in a Queen of the Ring first-round four-way match.

During the bout, Cargill’s wig unfortunately came off, leading her to perform a number of spots while holding it to her head, including taking a Sol Snatcher from Sol Ruca.

Bully Ray gave a shout out to Cargill on Busted Open, highlighting her perseverance.

Praising the former WWE Women’s Champion for continuing on in the match, the Hall of Famer said:

“I’m giving a shout out to Jade Cargill. You were put in a very rough uncomfortable situation. It happens, wardrobe malfunctions happen, hair extensions get pulled out. Dudes have crapped themselves in the ring, anything can happen.

“It’s not easy to go out there and perform in front of thousands of people in the arena, and millions of people watching at home.

“For a woman to have her wig come off on national television, it’s pretty easy to roll out and roll under the ring and hopefully nobody sees you, right? She persevered, she kept on trucking and she got through the match. She did what she had to do. Good job, Jade.”
