The first finalists in each of the 2026 WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments have been confirmed on tonight’s Raw.Tonig
Tonight’s Raw hosted IYO SKY vs Raquel Rodriguez, and Oba Femi vs Dominik Mysterio, in the semi-final round of the tournaments.
The first match to take place was SKY vs Rodriguez, with SKY having advanced through her four-way against Roxanne Perez, Giulia and Lash Legend, and Rodriguez qualifying against Bayley, Jacy Jayne and Kiana James.
It was SKY who picked up the win, meaning she will advance to the final at Night of Champions, where she’ll face the winner of the second semi-final between Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair.
The tournament winner will challenge for either the WWE Women’s Championship or Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam – with those titled currently held by Rhea Ripley and Morgan herself respectively.
Tonight’s King of the Ring semi-final between Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio is still to come with the show still in progress, so this article will be updated with the winner after it takes place.
The winner of Femi vs Mysterio will face the winner of Jey Uso vs Je’Von Evans in the final at Night of Champions, and will go on to challenge for either the Undisputed WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, with those titles held by Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns respectively.
Is Now The Right Time For An OG Judgment Day Reunion?
By Jamie Toolan
With Finn Balor making the jump from Raw to SmackDown at the start of June, WWE finally put to bed The Judgment Day chapter of his career… Or did they?
Balor’s move to the blue brand may have gotten him away from “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez, but it also reunited him with Judgment Day alumni Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest and unofficial former member R-Truth.
Balor was the key reason behind Priest and Ripley being ousted from the group back in 2024, and, to the surprise of no one, they did not react to the news of Balor’s switch to SmackDown with glee and excitement. While some fences would undoubtedly need to be mended, Balor’s new changed ways could potentially lead to him doing enough to persuade Priest and Ripley to get the old band back together and reform The Judgment Day in its original form (well, after Edge).
With R-Truth in tow, we could also see a scenario where the old Judgment Day and new Judgment Day face off, perhaps inside WarGames, much like the New Bloodline and OG Bloodline did back in 2024.
Some fans may want to see Balor start an all new chapter completely free from Judgment Day, and that’s fair enough. However, enough time’s passed where there is some nostalgia for the old crew, and WWE should certainly tap into that at some point while they’re all on the same show.
