John Cena Sets New Record With WWE Heel Turn WWE

John Cena has earned a new record with his WWE heel turn at Elimination Chamber, which saw him attack Cody Rhodes.

With the March 1 PLE ending with Cena betraying Cody Rhodes and siding with The Rock, many fans have called this segment one of the biggest moments in wrestling history.

Guinness World Records have now recognised Cena for having the “longest WWE face run before turning heel”.

They shared a lengthy article on Cena’s new record, discussing his WWE run.

GWR summarised:

“Whether seen as the heroic figure of the “Never Give Up” mantra or a more complex figure wrestling with his place in the world, Cena’s legacy as the longest-serving WWE face, combined with his ability to turn heel and continue captivating audiences, cements his place as one of the greatest in WWE history.

“His journey serves as a testament to the power of reinvention, and perhaps more than anything else, the lasting connection he has made with his fans.”
