An update has emerged on John Cena’s WWE schedule following WrestleMania 41, with Cena announced for several more shows.
While there has always been speculation about Cena’s 2025 retirement tour, talk has picked up following the 16-time world champion’s huge heel turn at Elimination Chamber.
With Cena set to challenge for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, an update has emerged on what’s next for Cena, beyond April 19-20.
John Cena is now being advertised for three new episodes of SmackDown, with the WWE Championship #1 contender now set to appear at the following shows:
– May 30 in Knoxville, Tennessee
– June 13 in Lexington, Kentucky
– June 20 in Grand Rapids, Michigan
These dates indicate that Cena will mostly appear on SmackDown from May onwards. This is notably the brand which Cody Rhodes and the WWE Championship are currently associated with.
Interestingly, Cena has been announced for the March 17, 24 and 31 European Raw episodes prior to WrestleMania 41, which will emanate from Belgium, Scotland and England respectively.
