Major Update On John Laurinaitis’ First Post-WWE Appearance WWE

A new report has provided a major update on John Laurinaitis’ first post-WWE appearance.

As previously reported, John Laurinaitis was released from WWE in August following his involvement in the Vince McMahon scandal after 20 years with the company.

On Wednesday, January 4, Laurinaitis was announced for his first post-WWE appearance at Wrestlecon in Los Angeles, California over WrestleMania 39 weekend.

The announcement said that Johnny Ace was to brought in for the event by Bobby Fulton’s Big Time Collectibles. It was met with some fan backlash due to Laurinaitis having sexual misconduct allegations in the Vince McMahon investigation.

On Thursday, January 5, Bobby Fulton of Big Time Collectibles took to Twitter to announce that due to the negative feedback to the announcement that the company would not be working with John Laurinaitis for the event.

Fulton wrote the following:

Yesterday we announced John Laurinaitis would be doing an appearance with Big Time Collectibles. Upon announcement we received only negative feedback. After much consideration we have decided to not work with him. We apologize to those that were offended by us working with him.
