Johnny Gargano Teasing WWE Return?

Could Johnny Gargano be returning to WWE now that Triple H is in charge of creative? A new Twitter tease today added to the speculation.

While we have continued to see Dexter Lumis teases on WWE (however not an ‘official’ appearance,) could we begin to see signs that Johnny Wrestling, will be making his triumphant return to a WWE ring?

After continued provocation from Grayson Waller after Waller’s attack during Gargano’s goodbye to NXT, now comes a bit more of a clue from the man himself.

Posting to Twitter what is undoubtedly one of the greatest scenes in all of Spiderman franchise history, Gargano let Aunt May from Spiderman do the talking for him.

In the Spiderman 2 (2004) clip, that Johnny Gargano posted to Twitter, Peter Parker’s Aunt May shares her thoughts on heroes, saying:

“He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero—courageous, self-sacrificing people setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them…cheer them…scream their names. And years later, they’ll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them to hold on a second longer. I believe there’s a hero in all of us…that keeps us honest…gives us strength…makes us noble…and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most – even our dreams. Spider-Man did that for Henry and he wonders where he’s gone. He needs him.”

This could be entirely wishful thinking however there continues to be subtle clues to the potential return of Johnny Gargano to WWE screens.

Not only has Ciampa been noted as all but saying he expects to see Johnny Wrestling in the ring again, he also made reference to Gargano on Raw.

Earlier this week it was reported that Johnny Gargano is now more open to a WWE return now that Triple H is in charge of creative.

While the same report also noted that Gargano has also been in talks with All Elite Wrestling so we’ll have to wait and see where we can watch Johnny Wrestling wrestle!
