Jon Moxley has filed a trademark for the name of a tag team with him and current IMPACT star Sami Callihan.
The duo are collectively known as “The Switchblades” or “Switchblade Conspiracy”, and they’ll be reuniting on October 30 for the Wrestling Revolver.
Moxley has filed to trademark the name “The Switchblades” and “Switchblade Conspiracy” with the following descriptions:
Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.
They haven’t teamed together since 2011 but are former wXw World Tag Team Champions.
Jon Moxley looks likely to be facing IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi at AEW All Out, but it’s also possible it could be a three-way with Lance Archer since Tanahashi just beat Archer for the title only weeks after Archer had won it from Moxley.
