Jon Moxley Opens Up About Being The ‘Worst Guy’ In The Blackpool Combat Club AEW

Jon Moxley has addressed a claim that he has been the worst guy in his stables, discussing his current position in the Blackpool Combat Club.

On the August 17 edition of Dynamite, CM Punk called Jon Moxley the third best guy in his group, noting that this has been a recurring theme for Moxley throughout his career, referencing his time as part of The Shield.

Speaking on Cincinnati’s Cincy 360, Moxley reasoned that he enjoys being the worst guy in his faction as he gets to learn from his other teammates.

After speaking about his legitimate mentor William Regal, and calling Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli two of the best wrestlers in the world, Moxley noted:

“It’s actually an awesome situation to be the worst guy in your group because I get to learn from those guys.

“I want to be around people that are better than me. Iron sharpens iron, and I want to keep getting better.

“If you don’t get any better, you’re going to regress because the world is going to pass you by.”

Moxley notably defeated CM Punk in a matter of minutes to become the Undisputed AEW World Champion on the August 24 edition of Dynamite. You can watch the full match right here.
