A world champion has hit a significant milestone.
One common theme across multiple promotions lately has been long title reigns. With Roman Reigns approaching 1000 days as a world champion and Gunther holding the Intercontinental Championship for over 330 days, WWE has fully embraced the trend.
Meanwhile, AEW has seen both Jade Cargill as TBS Champion for over a full year and Orange Cassidy setting a record for most successful title defenses.
At NWA When Our Shadows Fall in 2021, Kamille defeated Serena Deeb to become the NWA Women’s World Champion. Kamille has defeated the likes of Taya Valkyrie, Kiera Hogan, Melina and Chelsea Green since winning the gold on June 6, 2021.
May 6, 2023 marks 700 days as the reigning and defending NWA Women’s World Champion.
The National Wrestling Alliance marked the milestone with a social media post, tweeting:
Today we celebrate 700 Days of @Kamille_brick as your NWA World Women’s Champion!
